How to Access the VVDI2 Key Programmer Menu and Use the 48 Chip Copy Function

Step 1: Open the VVDI2 Software Menu

• Launch the VVDI2 key programmer software.

• Navigate to the “Member Points System” menu.

• Ensure you have the XHS-VVDI96BIT or XHS-VVDIOBD authorization active to access the 48 chip copy function.

Supported Types

The 48 chip copy function applies to vehicles using the 4th generation immobilizer system. Supported vehicle types include:

• NEC24C32

Required Vehicle Data

To copy a 48 chip, you need to obtain the PIN code and component security (CS) bytes from the vehicle. You can do this in one of two ways:

1. Read via OBDII:

   • VVDI2 can read the PIN and CS directly from the Engine Control Unit (ECU) using the OBDII interface.

2. Manual Entry:

   • If you already have the PIN code and CS bytes, you can input them manually during the chip copy process.
